Sexual Misconduct: 
  • Rape Crisis England and Wales: see website for list of rape crisis centres. Also information and practical advice.
  • Rape Crisis Live Chat Helpline: the Live Chat Helpline is a free, anonymous, confidential service. Women and girls aged 16+ who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or any form or sexual violence can access the helpline to get emotional support online. It is open various times Monday-Friday, see link for details.
  • Safeline: is a specialised charity working to prevent sexual abuse and to support those affected in their recovery.

  • The Survivors Trust: rape and sexual abuse can happen to anyone regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, culture or social status.  Living with the consequences of rape and sexual abuse can be devastating. We believe that all survivors are entitled to receive the best possible response to their needs whether or not they choose to report. 

Online Sexual Misconduct: 
  • Revenge Porn Helpline: a free resource full of useful information for victims of revenge porn, information about what the law says, what can be done to limit its effects and help from organisations such as Facebook, Twitter and Google, along with links to various resources and support agencies. 

Relationship Abuse: 
  • National Domestic Abuse Helpline: 0808 2000 247
    Run in partnership between Women's Aid and Refuge, this is a national service for women experiencing domestic violence, their family, friends, colleagues and others calling on their behalf. The Helpline can give support, help and information over the telephone, wherever the caller might be in the country. Also visit www.womensaid.org.uk to access the Survivor's Handbook for further advice on housing, legal issues and making a safety plan.Aanchal: 24 hour telephone helpline and services for Asian women who have experienced domestic violence, emotional support, group work and counseling. 
  • Hollie Guard: the Hollie Guard was developed by the Hollie Gazzard Trust which helps to reduce domestic abuse. The Hollie Guard turns your smartphone into a personal safety device. In danger? Status your phone or tap the screen to generate an alert. Your location and audio/video evidence will automatically be sent to your emergency contacts who can take action to help you quickly.
  • Women's Aid: is the national domestic violence charity that helps up to 250,000 women and children every year.  We work to end violence against women and children, and support over 500 domestic and sexual violence services across the country. 

Stalking: 

Forced Marriage and Honour Based Abuse:
  • Karma Nirvana: run the national Honour Based Abuse Helpline, train professionals, gather data to inform policies and services, and campaign for change. 

Male Sexual Violence and Relationship Abuse Support: 
  • Mankind UK: male rape support and resource service for men who have been sexually abused, assaulted, raped. National UK charity based in East Sussex offering telephone helpline, counselling and support, one to one, groups and support for partners and families. 
  • Male Survivors Trust: support and information to adult male survivors of child sexual abuse and adult rape, includes male survivors forum.
  • Survivors UK: helps male survivors of childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual assault/rape. Helpline is now delivered online, by text or by email only.
  • Victim Support Male Abuse Helpline: 0800 328 3623 - Helpline for male victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse
